Years spent living in burrows and homes built within the earth has led to Brownies being able to see in the dark with ease. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light.

Nimble

Despite their short and stout bodies, Brownies know how to get about. You can move through the space of any creature that is one size or more larger than yours.

Nature's Kin

As descendants of earth spirits, Brownies feel in tune with nature. They have proficiency in the Nature skill, and they are able to communicate with animals of a medium size or smaller.

Predictive Instinct

Being a small race has led to hundreds of years of adaption to ensure their survival. Brownies' instincts and senses are tuned to the point of being able to detect the tiniest changes in the air and other environmental factors. This allows a Brownie to detect if something is wrong, whether a storm is on the horizon or if they are being stalked. You have an additional 5 points in passive perception, and +2 points in Perception.

Brownies are hard workers that value the effort of a job well done. You gain proficiency with one of the artisan’s tools of your choice: Carpenter's tools, Cobbler's tools, Cook's utensils, Leatherworker's tools, Mason's tools, Smith's tools, Tinker's tools, or Woodcarver's tools.

Because of this, a Brownie will always be willing to do a favor or two for another of their kind when asked of them- even if it might be detrimental to themselves.
