Lesser Darkvision

Nocturnal cave life has lead to Xhierotz having decent night vision. You can see in dim light within 30 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

As a Xhierotz, you have the natural talent and sharp claws needed for climbing walls and ceilings. You have a climbing speed of 20 feet.

Echolocation

While you vision in the dark is a step above many other races, your greatest asset is your ability to map out and locate objects and creatures with a high pitched sound. You are able to emit ultrasound to map out your surroundings, no matter the lighting. This gives you an advantage on Perception and Investigation checks when you use this ability in situations you are unable to see. It can also be used as bonus action in combat to negate disadvantages on attacks that would be caused by vision impairment.

With strong, leathery wings, you are able to take off and fly through the air. Your movement speed when flying is 50 feet.
