Dwarf

Dwarves are among the common peoples of Nexus. Like the other common peoples, dwarves' physiology represents a mix of planar influence from the Four Planes which make up Nexus. Dwarves carry elevated influence from the Elemental Plane, but specifically manifest a resilience drawn from elemental earth. It is unknown why one element influences physiology differently than how all the other elements produce Tieflings.
Dwarves more-or-less share the same basic shape as other humanoids, but tend to be shorter (around four or five feet tall) and noticeably bulkier in their builds. Thanks to their elemental heritage, they tend to be tough and resilient, with a hardy constitution that naturally resists poison.
Dwarvish lifespans are a smidge longer than humans, reaching maturity in their late teens and reaching a maximum age of around 100 years.
