Feather Flight Jet

"Now, every hero can fly!"
— Advert for Feather Mountain's private jet service.

History

Feather Flight Jets are heavily modified variants of Cessna planes that were first used in 1995.
They were made especially to be used as public transport alternatives to Feather Mountain's teleporting system.
They were popular among passengers who were scared of lifts but not planes.
After Feather Mountain was abandoned, all known Feather Flights were stuffed into warehouses and aeronautical museums.
They could not be scrapped as a standing order required them to remain ready in case Feather Mountain ever recovered its manpower.

Appearance

Feather Jets are small planes painted with the uniform colors of Feather Mountain: blue, brass-yellow, and cinnabar red.

Power Generation

By combustion fuel.

Propulsion

Each jet has two engines at its wings.

Weapons & Armament

Being transport jets, they are not equipped for battle unless splendoro happen to be locked and loaded on board.
It is rare for the underlanders to attack these as they find it more trouble than it would be worth.

Armor and defense

Brass-gilt titanium frame that can withstand most firearms.
As these jets fly fast, they can escape battles quickly.

Communication Tools & Systems

Feather Flight Jets have radio and telephone connections.
No wifi though.

Sensors

Each Feather jet has radar to scan its surroundings.

Additional & auxiliary systems

For passenger comfort, Feather jets have air conditioning, reclining seats, and washrooms on board.
Each jet has a landing gear which can launch itself quickly when the plane is 100 m in the air and descending.

Hangars & docked vessels

Being light jets, they require less landing distance than standard-sized planes, and as such, can land more easily in small areas like Feather Mountain.
