The Desecration

The Desecration, an event that has shaped the world for 10 years. Dekall the god of death, after centuries of plotting his plan, came to fruition and he was able to tear holes in reality. These tears were direct connections to his realm of the dead and out poured countless hordes of undead that set upon the world like nothing that had ever been seen before.

The Conflict

Prelude

For centuries before the Desecration different countries across Netrosis had been growing more and tense as time went on due to racism, espionage (real or perceived), trade deals, border disputes, etc... The big players where Lothheim due to their production capabilities and practices with the Teldaroom. Klazcone forest was distrusted due to the fear of not knowing what the Arac were doing in their massive forest. Daldoon clan was, for similar reasons, as well as sending less and less Alchar out of their mines, among many others on all of the 4 continents. What the world didn't know was that Gatzel the necromancer was sacrificing people on Verglas island, an unknown island hidden in the arctic zone that circles the planet. He was sacrificing people and amplifying his power so he could give that power to his god Dekall. When he was given enough power he was able to open thousands of portals from his realm to Netrosis changing the world forever by beginning The Desecration.

Waves of undead sprouted up around the world killing tens of thousands before the people of Netrosis even knew anything was happening. There are hundreds of small towns that no longer exist.
