The Still Forest
Geography
The Still forest is a large forest taking up the southwestern part of Zeleguz. It has a few rivers and lakes but any more accurate geography is difficult to obtain due to the local Flora.
Fauna & Flora
Almost all Flora in the Still forest have some sort of adaption that either detects intruders into the forest or an adaption that is extremely dangerous to said intruders. The trees grow seed pods that can expel seeds at ballistic speeds and have developed roots that detect pressure in the ground. Fungi have a symbiotic relationship with the trees and detect loud sounds that they then warn the trees about. Any disturbance is met with multiple exploding seeds tearing said disturbance apart. The sensitivity of these systems increases as one goes deeper into the Forrest, this coupled with the dangerous plants found deeper in the forest makes safe exploration almost impossible.
The forest holds no large predators but does hold some Fauna unique to the Still forest. From silent bids to still rodents; the parts from the animals are values for their rarity and unique adaptions.
