Notare's Throat

The continent is fairly large and diverse, though mostly populated by the reptilian humanoid species it is named for, the Notarans. Despite many of it's natural defenses, the continent is regularly under siege by the rival avian species, the Solarans. The capitol city of Godsarm finds itself the target of many of such attacks, being the biggest and most artificial thing on the entire continent. Little do the residents of Godsarm and the surrounding territory know, there is another enemy growing in strength and size right under the nose of the oligarchy.

Geography

The geography on the continent of Notare's Throat is varied greatly by region. To the North lies a great volatile volcano, Mount Litam. To the East the vast Dark Forest, with a canopy so thick it blocks all light. To the West is where most of the continents industry takes place around the massive kingdom city Godsarm. Finally in the south lies a large port and port city King's Port.

Fauna & Flora

Much of the wildlife throughout the continent is incredibly deadly, evolved to feed on the Notaran population that spans it's territory. Fortunately the Notaran species are masters of adaptation, able to change quickly and efficiently no matter their environment. The plant and unintelligent animal life is generally more of a threat to non-natives. In fact, the Notarans have found a way to harvest many of the poisons and dangers of the island and manufacture them into medicines and other complex resources.

Natural Resources

Natural sources abound and are harvested from all parts of the continent and shipped to Godsarm. Stone, wood and the like are used to manufacture all manner of tools and structures. The only thing unknown to the majority of the continent is the element malletal found on the eastern shore of Notare's Throat and hidden there by it's founder.
