As the Yan'katar start to move into Samurella, the surrounding nations credit this as the start of the war. During this time, Davmire and Samurella attempt to negotiate a peace deal.

With the endorsment of the newly formed Yan'katar council, the blue clan of Relag'tan start to move out of Katarinash into Samurella, slaughtering any resistance and capturing the native population as slaves, most of which are gifted to the other clans as a way of thanks for their allegiance. With the support of many clanless ones, keen for a home to call their own, they spend four weeks expanding their grasp, until they are called to stop by the central council. Davmire had issued an ultimatum. The negotiations between the three nations ran parrellel to Relag'tan's conquest, and it became clear that the Yan'Katar were not going to stop without military motivation, so Davmire made a threat upon their land.
