The Raven's Wings

The Raven's Wings is a cult organization based in Arran Edhil. They were formed 200 years ago after the discovery of their sacred text, "The book of the Raven Queen" which recounts the tale of an elven queen's fall from power and condemnation to the Shadowfell.

Structure

This cult is lead by a singular dictatorship type ruler followed by several officer's who each have their own group.

Public Agenda

This organization's goal is to "rescue" the Raven Queen and complete her ascent into godhood. This involves active recruitment to bolster their strength and reach, searching for a method to bring her back, and finding a correction to the original ritual so they can finish the job.

Assets

They run the Old City under Arran Edhil which they have boobie trapped to ward against the random stranger wandering into their territory.

History

Some 200 years ago an adventurer found a mysterious book while delving into an ancient elven temple. The books pages looked blank, but, being familiar with various methods of hiding text, he found a way to reveal the text of the book. He learned all about the Raven Queen and how she longed to unite the elves into one strong nation but was foiled by some of her not so loyal followers. He decided that if he could be responsible for the restoration of the Raven Queen that he would have immortality in history. So he formed the Raven's Wings. Over the decades they have been scouring every elven area to find clues to the secret of bringing the queen back. Last year they seemed to have found an old ritual that showed they could summon a being from another realm. They performed the ritual to the last detail. However nothing came of it. They discarded the spell as faulty and started looking for other methods.
