Session 5: Caltawa Wood

General Summary

The story opened up with Drayhe, Cali, and Kayleth meeting back up with Hank and Fera. They quickly communicated what had transpired and then decided to venture into the South Eastern forest in search of the man who received a vision to go there. They figured that they could connect with Fera's druidic circle and see if they would have any information. A couple days into the journey and a couple of weird happenings later, during Fera's watch, an old friend emerged from the forest. One of her druidic circle, (Nike), had spotted a campsite and decided to check it out. Fera excitedly introduced her friend to everyone else and explained what they were after. (Nike) mentioned she had seen an unusual traveler go off the beaten path and said she could show them where. A few hours back tracking, and they were able to spot the tracks the let deeper into the forest. The party continued to experience the weird magic of the forest during the journey. Towards the end of the day they started to spot some blood on the tracks. Cali was able to determine they weren't fatal wounds, but they decided to quicken their pace and see if they could catch up in time. An hour later they came across a figure lying prone, with a large gaping hole in his gut. Surmising that he was dead, the party decided to try and find what caused it. Feeling like they were close to what they were after. A little while later, they came across a clearing with a pool in the center, and a unicorn lieing down dieing. The unicorn, seeing the party, pleads for their help and told them that the pool was corrupted and there was a ritual that required hands to perform to clean the pool and heal him. The party quickly set to work solving the puzzle of the ritual. They managed to successfully figure it out and heal the unicorn who now states that he will protect them for a month.
