Mana Crystal

Mana Crystals are a great technological innovation. Cinis Dwarves learned to instill both Primordial essence and properties of the Manaweave into the special crystals found deep in the mountains of Nalamiir. It was once believed that the size of the crystal determined its maximum Mana load but this has been debunked. In actuality, a small Mana Crystal can be loaded with tremendous power if made by a skill dwarf. For a long time, the Dwarves used Mana Crystals solely to power many of their creations, be it weapons or tools. During The Great War, the Galvian Resistance collaborated with the Dwarves on the creation of Mana Amplifiers; bands with Mana Crystals that amplified the Mundaar elves' connection to the limited Manaweave.

Now a days, Mana Crystals are used and traded all over the world. They can be a substitute for currency and are sometimes seen as a symbol of power and status. Although the flow of the Manaweave was appears to now be abundant, Mana Crystals are still very relevant in everyday use.

Cinis dwarves are the only known people who can create Mana Crystals.

Discovery

During the creation of The High Forge on Vulkaar, many Dwarves received Divine Revelations from the large Mana Crystal located in Mount Fornax. They learned about it's connection to Vulcan and eventually learned how to fuse Mana to crystals.
