The Dark Prophet
This is the leader of the Vunda Vrasrujunari. The first Dark Prophet was self-declared, after that the position is chosen by the Brethren and/or Coven of the previous Dark Prophet. The Brethren and Coven change over the course of a Dark Prophet's rule, both because of age and losing or gaining favor.
Qualifications
They must be an experienced member of the Vunda Vrasrujunari. Often one of the Dark Knights who guarded the just-departed Dark Prophet are chosen as the new Dark Prophet.
Requirements
At least 10 years experience in the Vunda Vrasrujunari, and to be viewed favorably by the Brethren and Coven. It is beneficial to have been favored by the Dark Prophet, and to have gone on high-profile jobs in the past.
Appointment
They are chosen by the Brethren and possibly the Coven. They try to choose someone who was favored by the previous Dark Prophet to be the successor, but they can choose whoever they wish.
Duties
To commune with Death, Destruction, and Chaos about the direction of the organization and communicate their will to the whole organization. This also involves giving jobs to specific Knights or groups of Knights. To act as a spiritual leader to the Coven and guide them in their efforts to be knowledgeable of and close to Death, Destruction, and Chaos. They give study assignments to the Coven, and also choose people to act as scribes and keep records.
Benefits
They get first pick of things taken during raids, and those things get passed on to the next Dark Prophet as well.
They have the most authority in the Vunda Vrasrujunari and orders are to be followed unquestioningly.
Accoutrements & Equipment
They have access to very good quality robes, the finest pillaged jewelry, basically whatever they want.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Someone can only be stripped of this title by killing them.
