The Kin
Tracing itself back to the gangs of old earth, the Kin is a mob that deals primarily in smuggling Brilliance from offworld to the planet, particularly around Ascension Heights. Being that they control the main thoroughfare of Brilliance, they maintain an important, if somewhat niche, role. Led by Gold Dara, they treat their criminal enterprise like a family, with most of its members expressly forbidden to use violence.
The exception to this rule is Red Iva, a feared and ruthless figure who makes sure that nobody acts against the gang. She has a number of auxilliary forces who she can call on at any time to ensure that things go according to plan.
