Session Thirty-Four Report

General Summary

The party of Alexis, Azreal, Zappa, and Zed make it to the Henge of Lost Souls to try and find the tomb of Alexis’s family and potentially get some information about how to get back to Zappa’s home in the Feywild. Upon making it to the Henge of Lost Souls Alexis’s father was there with several men to take her back home. It appeared that his death was just a ruse to get Alexis to try and get some long lost family fortune. With little notice, Jarlaxle’s men took out the hired hands Alexis’s father brought and concluded their business for the time being with us. 
The party, plus Alexis’s father, found the tomb that they were searching for and descended. Everyone besides Alexis’s father was briefly attacked by a book, candle, baby angel, and a holy symbol at the entrance to the tomb. After taking care of them Azreal, Zappa, and Zed continued searching in what appeared to be a run down temple with unique tapestries and statues. One such statue had its eyes covered with a rag until Zappa removed it, which unveiled a downstairs portion and the party decided to investigate. 
When Azreal, Zappa, and Zed went downstairs they noticed it looked like the passage was blocked and the room felt noticeably colder than the room they came from. Zed was the first one that tried to pass by the barrier and was able to do so. Quickly thereafter Zappa and Azreal followed until all three were transported to a frigid place where the cold air cut like a knife. 
Zappa was able to tell that this world was that of the Cold Prince, which was far away from the material realm. It was clear to Zappa that they were standing in a far off part of the Feywild. Not knowing what dangers were present, besides the cold weather, the party decided to try and get back to the temple in the tomb. Azreal and Zed were able to cross back, but Zappa was not able to since he was raised in the Feywild and the barrier was constructed to keep things from crossing over into the material world. 
Not wanting to leave Zappa behind, the party rallies around him as he teleports them near to his home. In the blink of an eye the party is teleported to a beach and much warmer climate. Zappa seems to be in a fog though and can not remember clear details about his home. Nevertheless, being so close to his home and his people, Zappa is clearly drawn to make his way home.
