Hera

Protector of marriage and married women Hera

She was the daughter of the Titans and sister and wife to Zeus. She was said to be the most beautiful among the godesses:
Golden-throned Hera, among immortals the queen,
Chief among them in beauty, the glorious lady
All the blessed in Olympus revere,
Honor even as Zeus, the lord of thunder
— Homer
But as well as she was known for her beauty, she was known for her jealousy and vindictivness. Many a story about Hera is about her punishing the women Zeus fell in love with, no matter how much they knew or how reluctant they were towards his advances. She is also known for being an important factor in the way of resolving and ending the Trojan war for being slighted as Paris picked Aphrodite over her when deciding who would get the golden apple.
