Glamour is a Racial Ability of Cupids
Glamour is an illusion spell that lets Cupids take on a form other than their natural ones. This form, also known as a “glamour” after the name of the spell, varies from person to person. Each creature sees the same glamour differently, and the glamour will be in-tune with the physical preferences of the creature viewing it. Cupids often cast glamours to reach prey more easily if their target prefers to interact with others that aren’t children, such as trusted adults or those of the same age range.
Once a Cupid casts a glamour, their form will not truly change. However, the way the outside world views them will shift. Cupids bend light around them using magic to change how creatures’ eyes perceive them. Someone who has a penchant for teachers will see the Cupid as a professor type. Someone who tends to crush on pop-stars will see a sparkly young teen or young adult. If someone’s preference changes over the years, the Cupid’s appearance will also change. However, the target will still recognize them and won’t realize the difference between appearances. If the target has no particular "type," then they will be able to see through the glamour.
