Structure

The Outer Fields are a semi-anarchic society, and seniority is achieved by merit and popular approval. They follow a decentralised leadership structure, both to lessen the effect of capture on the organisation's operation and to avoid any one person being able to be influenced by people in power. There are loose strata of seniority but for the most part, once someone is trained to a certain level they are roughly equal with others.

Culture

The Outer Fields prioritise servitude and community spirit, aiming for a communist society in which all are taken care of by others and suffering, particularly due to what they perceive as "unjust theft of property" (taxation), is eliminated. For this reason they look down on those who are perceived to be selfish, as well as being very tight-knit within the organisation, many of their members being born into it. Equally, they view those outside the organisation as divided into two groups: those who oppress the workers and support the "unjust" collection of taxes and other such tariffs, and those who are oppressed. Their interactions with the outside world are framed by these two categories.

Public Agenda

The Outer Fields have the goal of disestablishing conventional capitalist society in Mythia, through violent means if necessary. They hold themselves as the champions of the working class, and are very public with this thought.

Assets

The Outer Fields are quietly sponsored by The Mountain Empire, which provides their members with weapons and training in an unofficial capacity. This is facilitated by the headquarters of the Outer Fields being situated on the border between the San kingdom and the Mountain Empire, so supplies and trainers can easily be smuggled in. The Empire does not prioritise this commitment, and is careful to ensure that the supplies can't be traced back to it.
Due to this sponsorship, the Outer Fields punch above their weight, with a consistent supply of spellwrits, medium-quality weapons, and professional trainers to ensure their ranks swell and their efficiency grows.
