Elemental Springs
Springs and rivers in the interior of the continent Flindreck, where the spirits of the elements congregate. Their power fills the air and ground, but is most influential on the water. An individual who drinks the water from the Elemental springs will be endowed with supernatural abilities for a short amount of time.
Purpose / Function
The springs are surrounded by an unnatural glow, barely discernible during the day, but easily seen in the dark. Some find the effect to be eerie, while others find themselves drawn to its unearthly beauty. The effect extends outwards from the pools themselves for a short while, before fading away into nothingness.
The pools' power is restricted to the area immediately surrounding the pools, though any water finding its immediate source in them will contain some measure of power, becoming more thirst-quenching, more healing, or making the recipient more receptive to the rhythms of nature.
The pools have been guarded by the Elemental Guards since they were founded by the Spirit of the Lake in the depths of time.
