Tripler Naval Research Hospital

Being a student of history as well as a millenniunite, Angus MacFadden, took one look at the newly completed hospital built out of Paresteel but wrapped in the sunrise pink marble by the construction battalion, and named the facility Tripler Naval Research Hospital after the hospital that survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor from Earth just over 900 years ago. The official ceremony to open the new hospital was at 0900 on 21/06/2855. It didn't hurt that the hospital was built right next to the mountain and climbed the side nearly 50 meters, what is unknown to the general public is that it extended up under the mountain and was one of the unlikely entrances to the largest Star League facility ever designed. In the 50 years since the doors opened there have been a number of advancements that have cemented the impression that it was physical proof that miracles happen, especially after bionanomachines were developed that are passed from Mother to child in the womb that eliminated the possibilities of birth defects, which also stopped and ended cancer finally. While this is viewed as one of the best advances in the history of mankind there are issues still have researchers throwing crap at the wall. The bionanomachines have taken the role of the bodies white blood cells, as such they fight and fix damage from disease, they attack anything else deemed foreign which is both good and bad.

Purpose / Function

While it is a hospital and does support that function to the population as the largest and best equipped medical facility on Mystic Prime it's primary function is geared to researching everything from cancer to cyborg part rejection.

Alterations

Despite appearance the hospital is a building designed for peace, comfort, and hope. it has no offensive purpose but that doesn't mean it is a soft target, it's well disguised automated defense systems were the best available and the massive reservoir that was fed by the high mountain rivers meant that those defenses could hit harder than the best mobile units.

Architecture

Built as a smaller sized Fort Farpoint, while it looks built for war the marble stone covering the outer facade in sunrise pink softens the overall impression.
