Magic pools

When the Gods were turned to stone it disrupted the flow of magic on Myrth causing it to rise to the surface where it gathered in small pools. The Gods magic, not able to be contained in the stone prison the gods found themselves in, bled from the statues and spilled into the pure magic pools, mixing the two types of magic in a way it was never meant to blend. This magic is poisonous and slowly killed off any life growing around it.

Manifestation

Magic pools come in a variety of colors depending one which celestial being's power it was mixed with. If a magic pool has not been contaminated with divine power it takes the appearance of a completely translucent liquid that might as well be invisible to the eye.

Localization

Magic pools can be found all over Myrth, although the pools found closer to one of the stone gods hold that divine being's spilled power causing the pool to take on a certain color.
