Guardian Stones

The shores of Leitha Ndor are guarded by these strange structures. Legends say that an ancient civilization created them before vanishing completely. No one knows their origin for sure, only that they hold a strange power that keeps strangers from spoiling their lands.

Purpose / Function

A strange light pulses from the crystals embeded in the structure and any being that gets within 200 m of the structure become confused and forgetful. They come back to themselves an hour later well away from the shore. Invaders are unable to reach shore and must find an alternitive means of entering.

Sensory & Appearance

The light from the glowing crystals is blinding. There is a heavy buzz of magic that sits heavy in the back of your mind, clouding your thoughts and making your skin tingle.

Architecture

These circular stone shrines are built up on a dais, the floor of which is 10 feet above the ground. There is a thin staircase curving around the base of the building. Long thin pillars stand on the very edge of the structure, each pillar is embedded with rune carved crystals and lead up to the large 8 foot by 3 foot crystal suspended between the pillars by glowing chains. The base of the structure is sitting in the middle of clear liquid magic that, at first, could be mistaken for water.
