Zyel

Zyel was formerly known as Zyriliaxe Thenrol, a prestigious doctor who prided himself on his skill to heal the sick. After each success and failure, he would offer up prayers to Chel informally, as if a loved one, telling of fears, wants, desires, hopes, dreams and feelings. Though Chel is a God, she soon fell for him, he felt affecton from him rather than reverence she felt from her other worshipprs. She presented herself as a young woman, garnered in funeral attire and the more they talked, the more Chel was drawn to him Though it was a detriment to his health, for the longer she stayed with him, the shorter his left grew. In her greed she stayed, and in 2 and a half cycles, Zyriliaxe turned gravely ill. On his death bed, Ahno, god of souls was poise to lead his soul to the after-life. Chel knowing she would lose him forever, struck a deal with Ahno. In exchange for her ability to restore life, Ahno would save the one she loves. After a month long ritual, Zyriliaxe was reborn. Sickened by what he has become, he changed his name to Zyel, and vowed eternal hatred toward Chel. To spite her, he vowed never to heal again in a manner that would be approved by Chel.
