Chel, like her followers form strong ties once bonded. The belief that souls bound in life can be bound even in death is a strong one. As such, there are two aspects of the faith. Those who enact rites to preserve life, and those who enact rites to eradicate it.
They are often found in the aftermath of wars, hospitals and a scarce few in the realm of Pulgelch they are given tithes for their ability and willfullness to converse with the dead. Their sacred emblem shielding them from undead attack, so ling as they remain neutral in times of undead epidemics.
Unlike the followers of Ahnos followers, they find joy in speaking to the dead, as such, they find it blasphemous to seek payment for such acts.
Chels balance between life and death has left her hollow. That was until she met Zyel and recieved such uncanny affection. In his prayers he would speak of intimate thoughts and feelings, hopes, concerns, even inquiring of her own state of being.
She was enamoured with him, affection that ultimately caused him to meet his end..i .order to bring him back, Chel prostrated herself before Ahno, a disgusting act for any God. Ahno accepted to spare the life of Zyel, in exchange, Chels gift of healing.
In exchange Ahno must sacrifice her gift of healing. Reluctantly she agreed. Now. Chels worshipers struggle to heal, often angels of death, stationed.as undertakes, seeking to console those in life about their eventual end.
