The Floating Islands of Mathusaleth

Mathusaleth was an ancient cartographer who travelled the globe. By the age of 978, he completed his journey in the Fey Marsh, where his gravestone rests in the center of a tar pit. Protecting his body from defilement, an honor from the necrotic god of the Fey.   The floating islands were named after him because he was the only one to travel there since the dragons claimed it as their own land. In his haste, he lost all records of what he had seen. His notes are scribbles of things he can recall. But he laments that his greatest accomplishments were lost forever up in the floating city scapes.
