Dafield
The village outside of Morinlin Wood.
Population - 1800
Elves reside here and are usually mocked for being demihuman. They love the town and want to see it change and be better but understand their level of power within the kingdom and stay out of sight when it's necessary.
Slave traders usually avoid messing with the village because of the inhabitants and will go out of their way to go around the village if they come across it. The elves who live here refuse to leave to a more accepting country because this was their home long before the humans claimed the land. some say that king Merik lets them stay because he's afraid of causing a war with the entire elven race.

History
Once their was a massive city built by the Elves of old where everyone was welcome and the city strived on the ideals of taking in those in need. When the great war happened most of the people in Balsine fled to the city to seek refuge and the overpopulation caused an economic crash just before the careless took it upon themselves to destroy the beautiful city leaving only a few survivors. those who survived ran to Wootenchyle until the war was over. Once the war was over and everyone was safe once again the survivors who consisted of maybe 30 elves at the time came back to rebuild and swore to never make the same mistake again.
Architecture
the emerald elven metal that was used to build most of the spire is what most of the buildings are made of now.
