After a war with the gods ended with the gods being thrown to the outer realms, all of Mortanshire went to chaos as the governments were formed. The divide between nations was formed and the powers at be began to form treaties based on lies and bluffs all but one country the country of wootenael A world that was once waging war with the heavens is now on the brink of war with itself. Tensions are high, even common folk are begging their leaders to end all of the senseless fighting. Warning that if we go to war with ourselves, then the gods will look at our weakness and strike.   Not all gods fought against the people of Mortanshire but those that did are now seen in most countries as illegal to warship. Those that helped the people of this plain are more likely to be admired by even the high estate. At the time your adventure begins you are waking to the world just a few decades since the war. The governments have formed, the treaties are holding but barely, and you find yourself in the only kingdom that is trying to keep the peace.
