Senzen

The Senzen are a race of humans that trace back their origins to the guardians that were one with the forest itself. They are spread to the world and have an affinity for syncing their spirits with plants, up to the point their characteristics gradually change with it.

Biological Traits

The Senzen are spread through the world, frequently attached with cultures that depend heavily on trees. They are famously known for their green eyes, mostly emerald in tone. It takes a couple generations mixing with other races for green eyes to fade away completely, it can easily pop back up if both parents have some Senzen ancestry. Senzen tend to have brown skin, the tone varies depending on the trees around them, with the one they sync their spirit the most over generation prevailing over others. They refer to it as "the bark in their skin". This leads to almost white, light brown colors to a black as dark as their shadow depending on where they might live. There are Senzen that go even further with this characteristic, as some are known to live so secluded to forests with monodominance of more unusual species, leading them to be even red or blue. This is a recessive trait, though, and tends to fade within a generation or two. While their skin color variations is only noticeable through the generations, one is quite present within their lives. A senzen's hair color is green a leaves, so are their eyebrows, although they tend to be a bit darker, almost black. However, as hair grows, no matter at what age, the hair will gradually change color depending on what plant they sync their spirit is, always picking up the same tones as the flower of said plant. If a plant produces no flower, their hair remains green. This leads many Senzen to keep flowers at home so they can practice and change their looks, or switching flowers just so their hair will keep several colors, like a gradient rainbow.
