Gaeven Goddesses

All the people of The Ember Gaeven believe in their Gaeven Goddesses in some way or another. In Alras the lines between each of the nine is very distinct versus in Helifea where they are so blurred that goddesses of similar spheres are believed to be one. Because of the nature of the different regions when settlers moved from the original Alras out into the rest of the continent, some goddesses kept godly power over a region while others (who were less needed) were demoted to saints.    In Alras, all Goddesses hold Godly power. They are named; Reign, Rosa, and Rhea the Moons; Aliah, Myrah, and Imah the Suns; Lillith, Willa, and Astrin the Land. Due to Alras being the oldest region and the origin for all peoples and their believes in The Ember Gaeven there are connected religions to the great Rih (their word for god) which fallow one goddess specifically.  The three Moon Goddesses are solely worshiped as Rih in Maliak the Moon realm because of the massive role the moon plays in the land. For example during Silvereign (Month where the only light comes from the moons) in Maliak the moons shine so bright that they light up the day, even though the sun isn't present. Reign the goddess of the year, is known as the General Goddess. It is her who fights evil year round, as we see her in the sky leave to fight and then return to asure humanity that chaos has been kept at bay once again. Rosa the goddess of Healing blesses our waters with moon water once a month so that we may heal from our battles. Rhea the mother of the knowledgeable holds a cycle of only ten days, as she takes the time to check in on her other children throughout the realm of Ember Gaeven.  The three Sun goddesses are worshipped mainly in Palihn. Unlike the Moons who are sisters, they are Aliah (grandmother), Myrah (Mother), and Imah (daughter). Alia is the Sun, she protects us like Reign from chaotic forces in the beyond by shedding light on the realms. But it is tiring and she is old, so for three months of the year she takes time off and other goddesses shed light on Gaeven for that time. She lives closer to Palihn so during her months, even though she is taking a break- her light can still be seen in that land. Myra is the Rih of Life. Her diristiction lasts over fertility, rain, and love. Her daugher, Ima, is the Rih of Light. She is a young God so her power is small, she is what makes the fire glow and takes over for Alia during the months of darkness.  The last goddesses, the Land Rih are worshipped mainly in Gaelin, the realm of many Islands. Their goddesses are Lillith the Rih of Forests, Willa of Grasslands, and Astrin the god of Mountains.      In Helifae, they recognise all of the Rih as Goddesses, but combine the forces under three main deities. For example, they know there are three moons, but perceive them as controlled by one Moon Rih. The Body (Reign), Mind (Rhea) and Soul (Rosa). The name for this god is Raven. The Sun is Sparrow and the Land is Robin.

Structure

The hierarchy of followers, fallows the path of lineage.  Reign, Rosa, and Rhea are sisters. Their followers are equal.  Aliah, Myrah, and Imah are generations. Aliah is highest and Imah is lowest.  Lilith, Willa, and Astrin hold tittles over specific places. When in those places they are higher.  Reign, Rosa, and Rhea are all creatures of Light. They share the responsibility of lighting the night. They are the daughters of Imah, though together are viewed as more powerful than Aliah. The Land Rih are the daughters of Rosa, and are viewed as lower than her, but equal to Rosa's sisters.
