Religion and System of Power

Ustalia is for all intents and purposes, a functioning theocracy, with the King also being the leader of the Church of the Cindered Lord.
As such the Church is the only religion openly practiced, or accepted, within the borders of the Kingdom. Zealotry is largely rewarded and practioners of other faiths or non-believers are burnt in sacrifice to Ustal.

Economy

Ustalia's economy is entirely isolated from the rest of the Validus region, and as such they do not use or accept the standard coinage found elsewhere in the region. There are two types of coins within the kingdom, Embered Coins and Forged Gold, they are made of relatively cheaper materials, such as excess metal, when compared to the standared coinage throughout the Valdius region. Forged Gold is engraved with the image of the Aeron crest and current mask of the king on either side respectively. All official transcactions within the kingdom involve this currency, or alternatively via bartering, which of course is reserved for the lower classes.

Much alike the relationship between Wesier and Ustalia, Ter'kiar and Ustalia have long been enemies. Following the end of the Autumn War however, the Kingdom of Ter'kiar has little interest in further warfare, as they have reclaimed terriotory lost during the Seven Sons War.
