Silferton
Once a mining town that went bust long ago, it has been re-branded as a "holiday village" and ski destination, complete with hot springs, sleigh rides, ice skating, and all the rest. Under Mayor Samantha "Sammy" Liska's direction, the last ten years have been particularly successful.
Demographics
The majority of year-round residents are of Scandinavian origin, skewing heavily toward Iceland. It is a town divided economically, with a small handful of successful holiday-and-tourist related business owners as well as a run-down part of town that houses the most depressed members of the town.

Geography
