Counter-Commission of Denver
Counter-Commission of Denver is a government agency, executive in character and distinct from any departments. It is considered to be the most important part, as its existence is crucial for keeping the city and government running smoothly.
The maximum number of people that can be in the squad is 10, each carefully picked by the government as they see fit. Of course, the request can be denied, although it is a high honor to be chosen - only the best of the best get to serve in CCD. It is a very demanding job however, and is definitely not for the faint of heart.
It’s been officially formed two times since 2020, the second operating currently.
Structure
Although the squad derives from the executive branch, they don't have to directly take orders from any departments of the UFD. The government assigns ithem a supervisor, who's the only authority figure that they have to answer and report to.
Public Agenda
Originally, CCD was a secret agency but became public soon after its foundation. Their existance was and is still the same today - to hold responsibility for the state of Denver and enforce the government's views, laws and goals. Locals more often than not approve and love them, but not globally - there are plenty of places where their duties and actions are viewed as vile, and call them criminals. From the UFD's view, they are anything but that.
Assets
The penthouse that the squad gets as their shared home is perhaps the most obvious show of luxury that the government hands them. It is not required for any member to exclusively stay there but everyone still has a key for easy access; they can call it their home anytime they wish, plus it’s a convenient place for any meetings amongst themselves.
Each member also has an individual bank card that’s linked to government funds. It ensures constant money, although it can be taken away if needs be at any time.
Squad members also acquire a tailored uniform piece: a jacket. It’s always black with two white stripes along each arm, the UFD symbol on the right shoulder, and the person’s assigned number and family name at the back. It’s mandatory to be worn at official missions, although not wearing it seldom receives any actual consequences.
