Harmonic Server Towers

The towers throughout Mixolys that house each region's Harmonic Servers are considered great landmarks and feats of architecture and technology. Each one is said to represent a region's values and aesthetics in its own way. All the same, since they house song magic connections and functions for a large portion of each region's population, they are considered places of great power and are kept under heavy security.   The Eryphy region's tower is a marvel of pale stone extending unto the heavens, as some would put it. It looks almost like a lighthouse with the way the light pours out of its windows at night. This tower is actually the first and tallest of all the current towers, and sometimes this leads Eryphians to claim that their region is where Song Science was born. The claim is dubiously proven at best, however.   The Dorrea region's tower, located in the Lanju district, has taken on a slick, almost skyscraper-like modern appearance that suits the district around it. Lanju is often referred to as the "business district" of Dorrea, and so it makes sense that such an important structure would be here. However, it should be noted that this tower existed before the area was officially partitioned, and the tower's modern appearance is actually due to some heavy-duty remodeling.   The Makari region's tower has been referred to as the "wizard's tower" due to the dark stone that composes it and certain mysteries of its architecture. The spires at the top are said to contain conductors for various magical energies, though most people don't know why such a thing would be needed. Such a mystical appearance suits a region that contains the most descendants of Outworlders and the most users of foreign magic.
