Cerilyn Crystal
Transparently Divine
A Cerylin crystal is made up of concentrated Spirit magic. It appears in random locations all over Miria, however there seems to be more in highly dense areas of the world. No one knows why this phenomena occurs, magicistically speaking.
Properties
Material Characteristics
It is transparent and extremely hard to see. The crystal is triangular in shape and can have 8 faces, due to the name of its shape: octahedron.
Compounds
This can be an ingredient and turned into Cerylin powder if prepared right. This can be done by harvesting the crystal and dipping it into clean water, otherwise it will just clean dirty water. Once it touches clean water the Cerylin crystals begins to dissolve. Then wait for it to dry and it will resemble fine sand.
This is to cure near-death situations when kin-souls use too much of their magic too quickly.
Geology & Geography
It is found anywhere, but more commonly known to materialize in highly magically dense areas in Miria.
Origin & Source
Originally, Cerylin crystals are made from the Bright One, nurturing everything He brought to life.
Life & Expiration
Small Cerylin crystals can hold their shape longer than large ones. If it is unused at a certain time upon harvesting, it will begin to slowly de-materialize back into the atmosphere.
History & Usage
Discovery
The reason why the crystal is called Cerylin is because of a Magicist who first discovered it, and it was named after her.
Everyday use
Can be used to save a life or maintain magic. It restores magical and spiritual abilities.
Hazards
Large Cerylin crystals can be dangerous. So much condensed magic can cause immediate death from one touch.
Distribution
Storage
One way to maintain longevity is by freezing Cerylin crystal before it de-materializes back into the atmosphere. There is another ancient way of keeping its shape, but that knowledge has been lost.

Due to its rarity there is no law governing this material.
