After charming a being into getting pricked by the Rose, its poison begins coursing through the system. The poison is the spirit of the rose, giving it some sentience. What follows is a burning paralyzing pain that comes in five waves. Everyone of them worse than the ones before, but only after surviving the fifth wave a new Rose will grow from the body. This can be considered the gestational period. Only the strongest can become hosts for the Rose, surviving for long enough to maybe find a cure. The poison itself has this effect, and since few are strong enough to survive the poison it is highly sought after by ruthless assassins.

Once it kills a being, it grows in five days. While it's poison courses through someone or something it can take years to finally kill someone. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Poison, you can dissolve the flower in liquid and use it as a deadly, if slow, poison. During this process you can sometimes see a face float around in the fluid. Usually good for only single target.
