Avisleaena is a lot of things but definitely not a simple beast. Gryphons of her clan are very sociable beings that flocked and nested together, at least before she was forced to leave. A sad and unfortunate story is hiding behind her departure from Roo's tribe but she rarely speaks of her past and instead tries to nudge the conversation in a different way if directly confronted about it.
Oddly enough, she proudly wears a blue scarf around her neck yet she keeps the origin of this accessory a secret. It certainly raises a few suspicious or envious glances her way from dragons and gryphons alike. Despite the fact she has very little to be happy about, Avisleaena is rather joyful and mischievous gryphoness that enjoys an equally sociable partners to speak with if possible and lives a rather dangerous life of visiting smaller dragon settlements to offer her songs, dances and culture to an otherwise hostile species. So far without incidents.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Agile and lithe. Doesn't take exceptional care for her fur or feathers due to the constant travels, mostly washes herself only before her performances

Apparel & Accessories

Blue scarf tied around her neck. Small nooks inside it are used to store small shiny or valuable objects she gathered on her travels or as payments

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Her clan chief, Roo recently lost his mate to a Witless gryphon and was grieving for several years. As Avisleaena grew older, he spotted her remarkable similarity with his former mate in regards to her elegance, talent for songs and dance.
It was no surprise he himself started educating her and as soon as Avisleaena reached her adulthood, Roo proclaimed her to be his new mate. The young gryphoness was honored as she herself grew to like the older gryphon and so the two of them lived in a prosperous relationship for about a year. Her education broadened into areas of tribe management and leadership but despite the growing affection between the two, Avisleaena was not able to conceive any more clutches for his mate.
Roo was growing desperate, likely the old gryphon was at fault for infertility but he could not admit that in front of his tribe. Not at present at least, for Roo's tribe mixed up with a feud with a host of neighboring Witless dragons and he was afraid that such an admittance at the time of peril would lead others towards challenging him for his rule in the Competitions. With heavy heart, Roo admitted his fears to Avisleaena and they both decided that it would be for the best of the tribe that she takes the blame for infertility and leaves the tribe, thus leaving Roo in charge and managing the tribe during the crisis rather than leaving the leadership to someone young and woefully inexperienced.

Sexuality

As any Diurnal gryphon, she tends to be fairly sexually open, although she doesn't get to meet many gryphons on her travels.

Education

Educated in traditional dances, songs and history of her kind. Also knows basics of leadership and hunting.

Employment

Former mate of a Tribe leader. Currently nomad offering her services to dragon tribes in hopes of improving relationships between gryphons and dragons.

Phobia of spiders and spider webs sticking to her form

Taboos

Rumors have it that she is also willing to offer a more "exotic" and "intimate" services to some dragons. Whether that is true or not is anyone's guess

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Dreams to one day have a great reputation amongst both Gryphons and Dragons and help the two species understand one another better. A part of her also dreams of one day be able to settle down and have a family but she is afraid of doing so and risking disappointing yet another mate.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Extremely good at gauging interest and how well she will be received. Not that proficient at waking up early.

Likes & Dislikes

Adores her scarf and believes she looks extremely majestic because of it. Dislikes rain and anyone that wants to buy/take her scarf.

Personality Quirks

Her tone deepens into a "krrr" noise that is usually prevalent amongst Nocturnal gryphons. Diurnal gryphons use this noise when they make fun of something but Avisleaena seems to make this noise even outside of jests.

Hygiene

Almost always smells of dust and grass from her travels. Only ever cares about proper baths when she expects to have a company.
