The Boiling Fjords

The first battles of man and fire giant spread across Rogaland near Naglfar’s landing, destroying Stavanger and other settlements. With divine aide – haphazardly as it was through errant lightning – many of the giants were slain, and their essence absorbed by Boknafjord and the dozens of fjords branching from it. As it goes, the fjords roil and froth as a cauldron. The fish kill has created such a noxious stench that few venture near.
