Death-Cultists

Members of the Death-cult are called Hel-witches, and only women are members of this cult. Some bear no marks of their starvation and disease, while some do still. They are universally cloaked in stolen grave-clothes, sometimes the rich clothing of a king, sometimes the simple shroud of the poor. They wear nothing but this garb, delighting in illnesses acquired from exposure to the elements. One-half of their bodies are painted black in imitation of their goddess. They are attracted to the newly deceased, and excel in the art of sorcery. They are rumored to be able to raise the dead under their bleak command, as Hel brought her legions to the fields of Vigrith.
