Christians

The majority of Christians encountered express interest in returning to their lives before Ragnarok, and are hard at work rebuilding their society, living in small communes and spending long days in the fields.   Three new sects have emerged that no longer heed the church. Two of them are touched by unique and opposite manias; one, believing themselves and all others to be survivors of the end-of-days, travel the lands in search of heaven and recruit all who listen to travel with them. They call themselves the Shepherds. The other, as if filled with the sorrow of being abandoned by one’s own father, wander aimlessly in small groups. They alternate whimpering with the gluttony, fornication and general debauchery they could not know in their former lives. They take no name, but are oft called Heretics by those still in the Church’s good graces.   The last are those aggrieved by seeing the faces of lost loved ones among the evil dead. They, with the arms of the church, capture Helbuar and sequester them on some lost isle where they tirelessly prevent intruders, and also the escape of the dead. Their motives are unknown.
