Laug Milits

Elvenbyen is beholden to no king or power in the region of Ered Luin. As a frontier post it looks after its own and the Guilds ensure that trade can continue by funding the local militia. The men of the militia are equipped to a good standard. Spears are the weapon of choice to hold unruly frontiersmen at bay but every man carries a cudgel for pacification and his own choice of weapon .

You can party hard so long as you don't disturb the town or kill someone. Visitors to the town are reminded that looking after their own goods is their responsibility. The militia are here to look after the town property.
