A hearty laugh and a winning smile greet anyone entering Arnesen's Chandlery. "Welcome, welcome how may I help you today?", beams the large blonde haired man welcoming them into his shop. Seated in a large rocking chair Kåre waves to a jug of ale on the table beside him. "A drop of refreshment before you browse?"
Kåre Arnesen is a big-hearted individual with a ready laugh and an open hand. Round the taverns and inns of Elvenbyen, he is well known. A successful chandler he supplies many of the boats and has good contacts with both the Vannmennen and the traders. This open friendliness is all a front as he is also the head of the smugglers who operate out of the area. He is able to launder the profits through his chandlery. Any attempt to expose his operations or to muscle in on them will be met with extreme force. Of course, Kåre will be nowhere near any of the unpleasantness unless a very strong message needs to be sent.
