Bregol Silivanir
Arnaroquen Bregol Silivanir
As his smuggling contact left the apartments by the hidden door, Bregol felt he should reward himself after such a profitable negotiation, but no the pleasures of his Haradarim mistress would have to wait. Too often he had caught sight Lindal's suspicious glance, his daughter may be becoming a problem. As were the Electors who appeared to be worrying over the downturn in trade income over the last year. Why they should feel this was his fault, given the difficulties in Gondor and the similar poor economy in Tharbad he didn't know. But that was the Electors, greedy and grasping merchants yet his hold on the sceptre relied on their good grace. Without a doubt, they were already plotting the return of his distant relation, the half-elf Ministir the Boring.

Personal history
It was a long wait for the title of Arnaroquen, even for a Dunadan. During this time, Bregol sailed the coastal route to Gondor and lands to the south building up contacts. It was his astute business acumen that convinced the Electors, when the time came to elect a new Arnaroquen from the line of Silanir, Bregol was chosen to lead the town.
Bregol proved an able ruler of the charter town, setting taxes to a level that allowed trade to flourish during the difficult times of the war. The Electors continued to prosper and this allowed Bregol to build on his own fortune. Marriage and a beautiful daughter seemed to complete the path to fame and prosperity. The Great Plague in 1641 fell upon Caras Celairnen and in its wake, it left Bregol mourning the loss of a wife.
Bleak and heartbroken, Bregol sought comfort in building his empire and experiencing other pleasures. His daughter loved, but in essence, neglected. He has become involved in the shadier side of trading and through this has become entangled in Hoewgwar's network of informers and influencers.
Mental Trauma
The death of his wife has begun a downward spiral.

Malestir the Quiet is a distant cousin (by many generations) although they have had no contact.Bregol fears losing the sceptre to Malestir.
Religious Views
Nominally follows Dunadan religous practices but in reality, has no affiliations and lacks a moral code.
Social Aptitude
Extremely friendly to those who are able to provide him with the things that he requires, power, influence and riches. As a ruler is firm and calculating - making decisions based on protecting his position by favouring the Electors and trade.
Hobbies & Pets
Has had a stream of Mistresses from Exotic lands.
Loves to gamble especially on fights.
Wealth & Financial state
He is a wealthy individual, the lands held by his family are small with very little income. The incremental distribution of lands to minor sons and the Long War have nibbled away at the wealthier lands within the bounds of Arnor. Whilst his distant cousin Minastir retains the greater portion of land that is within the lands of Lindon. Consequently, Bregol has used his position within the town to develop a trading network to support his taste for good living. Unfortunately, the other Electors have a firm grip on most of the trade routes and goods leaving the Arnaroquen to scrabble around on the margins of trade and to look to markets further afield. In essence, this meant supplementing his income with small, highly valuable but illegal goods.
