Daniel Freund
Feng grew up high in the mountains of Lygrany living a secluded live from society. He discovered something he thinks might be of importance in the future and set out to find out more! He is of calm temper but you don’t want to test his patience to much as he can be an overwhelming force of nature! Besides his bullish appearance, he chooses his path carefully and wisely and his steps feel like he is moving effortless like the wind.   During the Great Kingdom of Urcia, the yak folk were like the Forgotten Realms lore (https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Yak_folk). During the Dark Ages they lost their connection to the dao and other magical abilities, but clung onto the slave-taking, emperor-worshipping aspect of their society despite their near-collapse. They still make blood sacrifices to the Faceless God despite the fact that it hasn't responded in a millenium.   Feng didn't agree with this, so he freed a group of slaves, then had to flee when his act was discovered. He escaped deeper into the far mountains of Lygrany, and was nearly dead of exposure and starvation when he stumbled into God's Gate, an inexplicably lush and warm valley. There, an ancient yak man took him in, brought him back to health, and taught him the legend of God's Gate.   At the bottom of the valley, nearly buried beneath tangled vines and wildflowers, is a massive stone door a hundred yards wide. An unbroken line of caretakers has watched over the valley and the gate since the fall of the Great Kingdom and the Dark Ages that followed. Their original purpose has been forgotten, but they know that someday God's Gate will need to be opened using a magical key called the Namzaqu. Feng's old master was insistent that he learn smithing, but he never really explained why, and sometimes Feng got the impression that he wasn't even sure why it was so important himself. The master died on the day that the first gargantuan arrived, but before he passed, he told Feng that he believed now was the time for the Namzaqu to be found, and as the new guardian of God's Gate, it was Feng's duty to seek out the key…
