Sir Sneakalot Character in Miand'Mésvéstell | World Anvil

Sir Sneakalot

You wont hear him.
Not unless he wants you to.

Sir Sneakalot

"...
— Sir Sneakalot, unusually vocal.

General

Sir Sneakalot has for a very long time been a close ally with Captain Stab McKnabb the Kilted Killer but nobody really knows exactly how they met. They seem to understand each other well, even if Sir Sneakalot would only so much as angle his head slightly to the left.
He almost never talks and when he does, it is of great importance and one better listen. This characteristic is quite unnerving to most people, especially since he never takes off his helmet in public, which has caused a few rumors to sprung up.
— From the Codex Chronicler's notes.

Rumors

A Phantom

One of the most common ones is that he is actually not even human, but a Phantom that has managed to stay stable inside that plate armor of his; this would also explain how he can move so amazingly quite at some points, some argue. Either that or an Goëtia Ilyon.
— From the Codex Chronicler's notes.

A woman

Another popular rumor is that Sir Sneakalot is actually a woman; why else would he never speak or show his face? A few are saying that he is both; a Phantom of a former woman. But nobody in their right mind would ever mention these rumors in the same room as Sir Sneakalot, or even in the same part of the house. Who knows, he might be able to hear?
— from the Codex Chronicler's notes.

Silent on command

One very puzzling ability for Sir Sneakalot is that it seems he can make his armor inaudible on command. Usually when he walks, one can hear him come from a good distance as the plate armor clanks in conjunction with his steps and movements. But other times, it would seem like the plate armor had been replaced with soft clothing, as he can show up in a room without making a sound. And he can move silently as long as he wants to, at least it seems that way.
— from the Codex Chronicler's notes.

Silent killer of noble birth?

Nobody really know if he is of noble birth or even if his real name is Sneakalot. Some think it is very fitting with his name, though. With the way he is able to sneak up on people and probably has a good laugh afterward. At least to his allies and friends; his enemies will most likely get to taste his broadsword and die before they knew he even was there to begin with.
— from the Codex Chronicler's notes.

A famous, silent escape

One of Sir Sneakalot's most famous achievements was when he escaped from a high-security prison cell after being a part of the assassination of a politician named Jarin that Captain Stab McKnabb the Kilted Killer accomplished.
He was stripped of his armor and his sword and left to starve in his cell, while he waited to be executed in two days' time. He was guarded by 12 elite guards, at least officially. And at the night before his big execution, he managed to sneak past them all without making a sound or spilling any blood He also took back his armor and sword, who had been locked inside the prison's vault, without any seemingly trouble. All in all, it was as if he had gone up in smoke, and some high officials believe that he might have been an Ilyon.
— from the Codex Chronicler's notes.
