Into the Void

A book void of warmth

General

This Codex has quite an interesting history, one it shares with books of similar topics. It was supposedly a collaborated effort made by several groups and individuals within the Union of the Archive Association but few appear to remember ever working on it, either when it came to writing the content or researching for it, which many finds concerning. Several who are said to have been part of the project, have vanished without a trace, which has only increased the suspicion for the codex.
The whole codex took several decades to complete; some even speculate that it took centuries. When all was said and done, few copies were ever published. The vertigo and nausea that the book gave its readers soon became infamous and more than one was destroyed in fear. Rumors went about readers who had even been killed by reading its content and inspecting its strange images, but none were ever proven.
Now, the few ones that are left are kept behind lock and key by either collectors or scholars. A handful is said to still be in circulation and the first published example of the codex is said to be found somewhere in the Great Archive.

The fact you keep making in-universe explanations for stuff in how you make the setting itself is something I've greatly enjoyed about your work, Leno. This book is no exception; good work as always.

Thank you, I am glad to hear it! ^-^ Things like this also help me get a better understand of how things are in my setting. Usually as least xd. And it is fun to write.
