Merchants' Commercial District
The Merchants' Commercial District is where all main trade happens in Volniy City. The district hosts local businesses alongside multinational companies and enterprises that have a branch in Volniy City. The main offices and assembly hall of the Ministry of Trade and Commerce lies in the eastern part of the district. The Merchants' Guild and the Artisans' Guild are located at the centre square, eastern building.
At the district, all kinds of goods and items can be found. The district hosts retail shops as well as custom shops of craftsmen. Most of the week during daytime the district is busy with citizens, traders, travellers and all sorts of folk, and sailors and dockers are seen delivering goods around the streets frequently. Due to that, many con-men and pickpocket artists walk around the district often.
The Volniy City Guard holds posts at each gate of the district and patrol frequently.
At the centre of the district, a great hall stands tall with big verandas, called "Alijana Compound" and hosts business meetings for the most prosperous and successful traders and people of the Volniy City Governorate, and is owned by the Volniy City government.
The district connects to The Light District to the north, The Banner District and Flag District to the east, the Volniy Docks to the west and to the outskirts at the south.
It's HQ is held independently, and in it the Merchant Guildmembers discuss policy, fair trade customs, and coordinating trade journeys. At assemblies are also counselors of the Triton settlements.
The guild has a delegation in the Ministry of Trade and Commerce, to have their interests represented in discussions.

At Centre Square are all the big stalls and shops. At the centre of the square performers play, dance, and perform plays.Looking north, the Artisans' Guild sells its crafts.
