Yadharqouk Capital

Its name translates to "Jewel Market" in the local tongue of Donsel. It is the capital of the province with the same name, Yadharqouk. It makes up 1 of the 11 provinces of Sembar.   It is known for its markets, where it sees a lot of trade between the nomadic tribes and foreigners, leading it to have quite a diverse arrangement of resources and styles. The fashion is also a huge mix of items, unlike other regions which have a huge distinction between the nomadic Saenhuid and the settled Donhuid the capital merges both the cultures beautifully.   It is found against the mouth of a large river situated within the lush canyons of Iqanreton Almálak, with the city creeping its way up and around the cliff faces.

Demographics

The city attracts a melting pot of cultures due to its trade. Nomadic tribes, settled communities, and foreign traders are some of the most common groups found here.   The nomadic Saenhuid traders frequent the markets, bringing their goods and crafts to trade, often including Cheese, tools, carvings and other ornate items.   Entrepreneurs, merchants, and traders form a significant portion of the foreign population. They engage in lively commerce, contributing to the city's economic prosperity, but also cause a lot of the services to be increased in price.   A workforce of labourers and workers supports the city's infrastructure and various industries, ensuring the smooth functioning of aqueducts, warehouses, and other essential facilities. Typically made up of the residents, slaves are also used to do the less enjoyable work.   Performers flock to Taverns, theatres, and performance spaces to looking to make a fortune among the wealthy traders of the city.

Infrastructure

Aqueducts and irrigation systems ensure a stable water supply for residents and industries. Trade warehouses contribute to the city's reputation as a trade hub protecting the goods from the elements. Nomadic artisan workshops support traditional skills and showcase nomadic crafts. Sturdy bridges and causeways connect diverse city areas for efficient movement of people and goods.

Architecture

by Artgalles
This building represents the most common architectural design found throughout the city, with small deviations depending on class and function of the building. This specific design is made out of red adobe and dyed clays, typically colours are associated with different purposes of the building.   Black is seen as a symbol of combat and respect with it being on military buildings. Gold and yellow are seen as hope and faith making it found on temples and places of wealth. Turquoise, blue and green are a sign of peace and domestic often found on homes. White is viewed as creation and safety, often found on government-related buildings.   The nomadic buildings are built with mud deposits. Unlike the rest, these typically don't feature much colour in the building itself, with colour being added through clothes and paintings.
