Tundra Aurora

A primative nature spirit faith exclusive to the druidic Merrwan of the Amriga Tundra.  It is centred on nature spirits, resembling the Totems yes less uniformed.

Shaman

Each tribe has a Shaman or druid that acts as a religious leader, who conducts medicine and religious rituals.  Death is treated as a natural part of life, with the body being let back into the cycle by simply leaving it in nature after the shaman has conducted a ritual to protect the body from undeath.  Many of the seafaring tribes leave bodies in the ocean.  They are not opposed to necromancy as long as it is used on a body that recently died seeing it as merely a different form of medicine unique to the shaman. But necromancy on long dead bodies or to make a mindless puppet is seen very distastefully.    Being in the Tundra and Arctic they see the aurora often and the shaman speak of it as the ancestor spirits looking down upon the world.    Each Shaman adopts a successor when they feel they need one, picking from the recently born who may have a tendency for magic. The shaman then raises their successor as their own child, teaching them the ways of magic and the rituals they need to know.

Spirits

They don't see the spirits as gods but tribute them that level of respect and power.  They also don't distinguish the physical form seeing every creatures spirits as if they come from the same place. This is why they have a great respect for the world as the world is themselves.   Unlike the other Totem related pantheons they don't have specific named spirits. As each one's name is unique to the tribe and shaman.    The shaman after commune with the spirits by a tribal item of importance, some of these are wood shield, root staffs or other items. Some have links to the Ancestors Forests aspren trees covered in the ancestors eyes, while others have a direct link to the aurora.
