Sleeping Dragon

Nestled within the vast skull of Dragons Bay, the Sleeping Dragon is an inn and shop standing as a tranquil place of rest in the heart of Dragons Bay. The two enormous eye sockets of the skull serve as grand windows. One window belongs to the vibrant pub area, where sailors gather to unwind, share stories, and enjoy ales brewed from far-off lands. The other window belongs to the most coveted sleeping chamber available, offering a breathtaking view of the entire harbour and the sparkling sea beyond.   Inside, the inn exudes a rustic charm, adorned with nautical-themed decorations that pay homage to the seafaring lifestyle of the inn's patrons. Tapestries depicting sea battles and old maps adorn the walls, while ship wheels and anchors are tastefully incorporated into the decor.   The central hearth in the pub area radiates warmth and comfort, inviting guests to relax and relish in the company of fellow sailors. The atmosphere is convivial, and the air is often filled with laughter and the sounds of merry revelry. A long wooden bar stretches along one side of the pub, where patrons can savour a wide selection of rums, ales, and spirits from distant shores. The innkeepers, themselves retired pirates, are known for their hospitality and friendly banter, making everyone feel welcome and at ease.   The most exclusive room of the inn, nestled in the eye socket, is a true gem. Lavishly furnished with plush furnishings and adorned with fine art, it offers a luxurious retreat for weary sailors seeking tranquillity and a touch of opulence.   The tunnel through the dragon's maw serves as both a functional passageway and a unique architectural feature. While it primarily allows easy access from the harbor to the town, it also contains a staircase leading up into the inn.   The first floor of the building is the shop which supplies ropes, barrels and other needed sailing equipment to ships at the dock. Functioning also as a living quarters for the workers of the inn it contains its own separate hearth, which vents the smoke out the nostrils of the skull.
