History

Pearl Port, a vibrant coastal settlement located on the coast of the expansive province of Milon on the continent of Cinnamon, stands as a testament to the intricate interplay of history, commerce, and cultural transformation. The province was originally known as Dursant, which was named after the town's founder, an instrumental member of the Pearl Trading Company. A dark chapter in the town's past was etched by his hands, marked by the massacre of native inhabitants, a dreadful act that cast a shadow over the Pearl Trading Company and stirred widespread disapprobation. The town's evolution took a turn with the passing of Governor Milon, a pivotal event that reverberated through its very core. In the backdrop of a looming revolution, Milon met an untimely end, beset by a mysterious affliction that saw him falter and succumb to an otherworldly force. And in his death, the province itself was renamed after him.   Several years after his death a plague would spread that resembled the affliction that killed him.   Pearl Port, as it stands today, was forged from the crucible of these historical forces. Emerging as the primary headquarters of the Pearl Trading Company, it found its establishment in the year -221, a decade following the rise of the Shesire Sovereignty. This shift marked a pivotal moment when the company set to relocate, facilitating the company's operations with newfound independence and enabling it to chart its course beyond the stringent confines of sovereign directives.
