Pearl Trading Company

The original founder of the company was a boy named Pearl, a Helman who grew up on the northern coast of Sey. This company started off humbly as a family profession he inherited from his father, where he would dive into the ocean waters to harvest the Ahgrond Pearls, selling them for minimum pay in the nearby town.
This changed at Pearls age of 16, when an Agent of the Scholars Guild met the young man and his pearls. The agent was fascinated for the Ahgrond Pearls had a darkness unmatched by any other black pearl, the agent purchased a wide collection of these pearls to study back in his own country. The sight of the pearls beyond the borders of Sey captured the attention of numerous individuals. Recognizing the potential in the lucrative market beyond his homeland, Pearl established the company in the year -381 Ps, initially known as "Pearl Sraman", meaning Pearl Merchant in Helani. This also marked the birth of the Pearlmaster lineage, a title Pearl himself was given by the scholar, although the language was different to his homeland he adopted it and it was given onto his children.
The company would rebrand itself to "Pearl Trading Company" in the year -221, 10 years after the Shesire Sovereignty emerged as the new governing power.  With its new rulership and adoption of the Serenity tongue as the national language, the company took the opportunity to rebrand to fit this ever-growing natural language. It was also at this moment that it fully began to diversify its product line and set up its main base of operations on the continent of Cinnamon.
The company's reach has expanded, encompassing a broad spectrum of exports. Its primary route stretches from Amriga to Sembar, serving as its main artery. However, they occasionally embark on voyages to trade with countries outside the bounds of the eastern realms. Their diverse exports include a range of commodities. They procure Flachboon wine from the vineyards of Virtuous in Enser, while Ahrond Pearls are gathered from the northern shores of Sey. The vibrant red and yellow dyes, along with the aromatic cinnamon, find their origins in Cinnamon. Their collection includes exquisite jewellery meticulously crafted from draconic scales, obtained through trade with Nihd's dragon-hunting tribes. Sugar is sourced from the expansive sugar coast, and the opulent pelts of luxurious foxes are obtained from the serene isle of Sage. Furthermore, through a collaborative effort with the salt trading company, they import an assortment of spices from Sembar.
